Bloodsucker - v0.1.5 (Pre-Release)


Why hello there.

It's been 3 weeks since the first release of Bloodsucker and it managed to get well over a thousand installs which may not seem like a lot but to me that's insane. Thanks you for your support.

Anyways this isn't meant to be a corny tear jerker "here is my journey" story post so let's dive into the heart of things.

The next update, yes that's right, version 0.1.5 is going... steady!

The first release was just a little appetizer, a little bread and butter to give you a feel for the story.  Let's just say THIS NEXT UPDATE IS GOING TO BE HYPE!!! WOOOO!!!. LET'S GO!

Yeah, that.

Ah man not writing a devlog after so long has made me kinda forget how to do this.

Right! 

Here's what I've implemented so far:

•  Saving & Loading: Remember how you could only have 1 save?  Oh the horrors...  now you can have 120!

Settings: "i can't mute?" | "no sound option?"  | "this s*** is too damn loud!" | You've all been heard  loud and clear. Next update you'll be able to customize a lot of features like volume, text speed, fullscreen and much more. Although I think the games better with sound *cries quietly*

Gallery: I think I did better than your typical h-game with this one fufu. It's a suprise you'll see.

Here's what's changed:

• Dialog Bar is larger.

• Dialog Bar has more buttons around it.

• Dialog Bar transparency slider has been made vertical and moved to the right side.

Pretty much just dialog bar stuff.

Bug fixes?

• I'm either completely blind or incredibly lucky as I've yet to be informed about a bug in the game. I hope that means there are very few of them. Who knows though? maybe someone reading this will bring up a list with like 400 bugs they found and make my life a nightmare.

What's happens now?

Now that the new features are out of the way I'll be working on expanding the story. This update is mostly focused on the new features so the story will only extend a couple of minutes passed where it left off. That being said you'll be introduced to the last key character to the story, Nino.

 Be sure to look forward to it.

I say last key character as in the main cast of characters (Sky, Seraphine, Emico, Nino). I still plan on introducing  supporting roles so that Cello (Iris)  isn't left completely lonely as well as giving them just as much love and character development as I do the main. Gotta' be careful I don't add too many characters though *cough cough*.

Next release when?

"When the time is right... it shall come."

I still have my eye around February (did I spell it right?).

Version 0.1.5 will first release on patreon to all the legends supporting the project and then to the public after a few weeks.
